Freyâs POV
âWhen are we going to eat!!!? ?â I screamed in my head as another teacher came to introduce herself.
It had been over an hour since this greeting/self-aggrandizing. It was interesting when there were powerful people but now âsighâ it is just tiring at this point.
âYo Frey, arenât you hungry?â Axel asked, his face showed what I was feeling.
âWe could go grab something if you want.â I said calmly as I tried to contain the pain growing in my lower abdomen.
For the first time in almost 3 hours she said something audible. âGuys, can we eat something that has meat in it? Iâm starvingâ Zephy looked at us as she clenched her stomach.
âAlright, lets lea---âbefore I could finish my sentence a wave of aura wash over me. I immediately turned to the source but nobody was there.
âYou felt it too right?â she asked âor is the hunger getting to me?â
Axel and I nodded in agreement, but from the looks of things, it seemed the wave was targeting just us.
âWe need toââthere it was again, this much calmer.

*NEW NOTIFICATION*
*YOU HAVE INSTRUCTIONS TO LEAVE THE AUDITORIUM*
*TIME LIMIT: 2:30*
*FIND IT BEFORE IT LEAVES*
The system dropped a notification, the only problem was it was just the three of us that got it. We had questions, who were we to find, why did it come as a system notification, who was behind it. No time to waste I guess.
We left the auditorium and started thinking of a plan to find whoever sent the notification.
âWe need a plan Frey, you might be fast but this place is big.â Axel cautioned knowing I was literally about to run around looking for that aura.
âI can track it but we need to do this as a team,â Zephirine added.
âHold out your right hand, both of youâ as we did so she started gathering energy in her palm.
She stretched out her palm then a chain of greenish light linked out hands together. It was smart, smarter than I expected, turns out she had markers placed at different points, all spread across places we had visited.
"Vincula sacra quae nos maioribus viribus adligant, me ad signa mea coniungant. Lucem quaero â vim eius sparge et rezona per omnia. Revela quod anima mea petit, ostende mihi quod fieri potest."
Her eyes glowed purple for a moment before returning to normal.
âOdd, 40 markers and they triangulated the exact aura signature present in 4 places.â
âSimple, we split. First to find the source alerts the othersâ Axelâs tone was calm but I knew he was uncertain.
âFind the locations of the signatures on the system map and send it to us. Iâll take the two closest to each other to save time.â We split immediately.
To be honest, I knew she could perform incredible magical skills but I never thought she was capable of holding 40 active markers. The max casters of her level could do was 12, to hold a marker you needed to supply it with aura, depending on what it was used for the amount of aura needed varies.

SOMEWHERE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD
âInsolence. Do you know why I wonât kill you?â
The scene was filled with dread. Thousands of soldiers, all from different races laid lifeless in a bloodied on-sided massacre. The land was painted with different colors of blood, all ultimately mixing and forming a pool of black.
The being responsible stood above an elder orc. His aura was stained with immense bloodlust as he stared directly into the soul of the orc.
âI wish for death, send me away with my brothersâ the orc begged as his body started to lose all feeling.
`SLASH`
âAARRRGGGGHHHHHHâ he had just lost his entire right arm.
âWrong answer, would you like to try again?â the figure said with a heinous smile spread across his face.
âGO TO HELL YOU BAST-ARRRGGGGGHHHâ everything from his right kneecap was ripped out.
With a deep sigh the figure placed his hand on the orcâs large chest. Then to the orcâs surprise he was being healed.
âThis will be enough so you donât die here, but I need you to pass a message.â
It almost felt like possession, his voice became distorted, almost like he wasnât in control any more. His aura spiked, the pressure wasnât directed at the orc, else he would have died on the spot.
âT3LL TH3 H1GH C0UNC1L W3 W1LL N0T HESITAT3 TO WIP3 OUT ALL TH3 COL0NIES AR0UN4 HER3. TH15 WA5 A WARN1NG, N3X7 TIM3 1 WONâ7 BE S0O M3RCIFULâ
As he walked away he looked at the arm he ripped out. âI used to think orcs were tougher than this, glorified two eyed Cyclopesâ he said as his form started dematerializing.
As he finally left the orc could feel the pressure drop, then he started feeling everything.
âSON OF BITCH, WHY ME, WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE JUST MEâ he cried as he looked at all his comrades and allies in war.
âHelp please, anybody helpâ he said as his consciousness slipped away.
By the time he regained his senses, his attacker was gone and he was surrounded by foot soldiers with the logo of the imperial army on their shields.
âWho⌠whatâs going on?â
Then one of the soldiers dressed in a different uniform approached the orc.
âSeems youâre from our side, care to explain what happened to your squadron?â he asked in an agitated voice.
âA sin happenedâ
The area fell dead silent. The mere mention was enough to trigger fear in everyone present.
They guided him to a healer that treated his life threatening injuries, curiosity got the better of them.
âSorry but how did you survive?â they needed to know. A sin was classified as a walking calamity, so how did one orc survive when his entire fleet was wiped.
âHe let me live, I need to see the high council. There trouble coming and the empires need to be informedâ
