BOUNDLESS PROJECT The time is 1780 A.D, AFTER THE DEMON EMPEROR`S FIRST ASSAULT ON THE WORLD, The location is the great collision, a gathering of houses, guilds, and the best of the best among the three great lands. The setting is tense, the great land was divided after the attack by the demon emperor ASARATH, and two of the three kingdoms had formed an alliance to reduce the number of casualties created by hell hoards that come and cause destruction with every wave. Of each kingdom, a great family stood as the war heads, from the kingdom of fire, PYRAETHIS stood HOUSE STARLIGHT the imperial family, from the kingdom of souls, NECROSIA the great HOUSE FROSTFIRE, and the last was the royal family of the kingdom of earth, TERRAVORN stood HOUSE PETRA lead by the beautiful matriarch, Queen Tetra. With the great houses in attendance, the issue of the demon empire made the air fall thin as many refused to breathe at the mere mention of ASARATH`S name. With a deep breath the queen rose calmly, her composure and sheer aura amazed many of the guests present, " Let us begin, staying silent will not help our situation nor will it stop him and his hoard from taking and destroying everything in their path" she said in a single breath. "I agree with her majesty, we have lost too many soldiers to stay quiet now." said the current leader of house STARLIGHT, Abraham Starlight. "What do you propose Abraham, our numbers dwindle by the day. It’s only a matter of time before we lose our forces." Lord Raphael said with bitterness in his words. The grand hall went silent again, which was remarkable by the sheer number of people in attendance and the size of the building. "I propose a binding vow between the great kingdoms." said young lord Starlight without fear of the figures he was speaking to. “INSOLENCE BOY, HOW DARE YOU SPEAK WITHOUT PERMISSION----" Raphael blazed as he saw this as a direct insult to his pride, but he was cut short by the queen, "Let the boy speak, why don`t we hear what you have to say......Frey." she said with a lewd grin on her face as she looked at the young lord barely in his 20s. "I am grateful your majesty" he said with a bow at barely 45 degrees, "By no means is this vow meant to hinder the kingdoms lord Raphael, the proposed vow is meant to strengthen the next generation, my generation." he said with composure of a war veteran as he glanced at the daughter of lord Raphael, Selene Frostfire. "This is meant to bring unity and close the gap of enmity between our kingdoms, this project is meant to channel the potential of the future of this war." he stated, his gaze and stance never wavered once as the killing intent of house Frostfire mounted weight that would have crushed the average warrior. "AND WHAT DO YOU INTEND TO ACCOMPLISH WITH THIS PROJECT BOY, BECAUSE IF YOU THI---" He was cut short again, but this time by his daughter. “Father, I think the young lord`s idea holds some substance, even if he sounds a bit arrogant.” She said with a cold emotionless look on her face. “So any objections?” the queen asked, glancing at Raphael. Silence ensued, no one dared to go against the children of the most powerful families in all the kingdoms, even though they possessed immense strength individually. “With the aid of our grand council, I will organize this project to be finalized and perfected. Since it was your idea young lord, what do you propose we officially call this program?” The queen asked with a grin. Frey looked at the guests present before glancing back at the princess before taking a deep breath. “I would like to suggest the BOUNDLESS PROJECT.” he said with confidence. “Interesting, I would like to propose a contribution from each house before the binding vow is made….” “I need two of the strongest warriors from different classes from each house.” Her majesty added. The tension in the grand hall returned as everyone didn’t understand why the queen would make such a request knowing fully well, if given the chance, the elites of house Frostfire would eliminate the young blood of the Starlight. The members of house Starlight were indeed a very intriguing set of mortals but throughout the annals of history they have been the ones to avoid conflict, knowing at full power they would wipe out a large majority of their enemies. But they have never regarded house Frostfire as enemies, just long time rivals. The same can’t be said on the other side, they have held a deep resentment for the bloodline regarded as the pinnacle of humanity. “This silence is very unnerving….” The queen said as her face started showing signs of irritation. “Lord Starlight, I will require your sister and the oldest of your bloodline. Lina was once considered to be the greatest prodigy, before your son of course.” The queen stated as she recollected the days she trained with the strongest female of house Starlight and the current tribunus laticlavius of nations frontlines, Lina Nova Starlight. “I understand why you want my sister, but why do you want my great grandfather?” he asked with the most confused look, trying to understand why she would want a man who lost interest in the war over 500 years ago. “He might have lost interest in fighting the war, but I have a feeling he will want to hand mould the generation with the most potential. That I’m sure of.” The joy was visible on her face as she would get to see her oldest and only true friend, seeing as they fought alongside each other during the peak era of the war. Lord Raphael and his court watched in silent resentment as his anger boiled to the brim, he however held his killing intent and rage under control, something the queen noticed. “Lord Frostfire, I want your highest ranking general, if that’s alright with you?” The queen knew she struck a nerve but he couldn’t do anything but accept since his daughter had chosen to be a part of it. “I have no objections to your majesty……..” he said as he gritted his teeth. “I’LL LET MY QUEEN KNOW.”
